Horizontal Applicator Tanks

Plastic applicator tanks are used for transporting water, chemicals, fertilizer, and other liquids in non-DOT regulated applications. These tanks are commonly seen in agriculture, lawn care, and water distribution industries that require full drainage. Applicator tanks are frequently referred to as skid tanks, saddle tanks, and spray tanks, and cradle tanks. They can be mounted to trailers, trucks, ATV's, and tractors.

These horizontal applicator tanks are constructed with rotationally molded polyethylene resin. This seamless construction makes these applicator tanks resistant to chips, dents, and cracks. Most applicator tanks are created with FDA approved resin that complies with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 for the storage of potable water. UV Inhibitors protect these tanks from direct sunlight - making them ideal for indoor and outdoor use.

Applicator tanks require skids or saddles for support. Sumps are located on the bottom of the tanks for complete drainage. Manways are located on the top of the tank for liquid accessibility. These tanks are equipped with gallon indicators for easily viewing liquid levels. Ace Roto-Mold saddle tanks come in white, black, and yellow colors. Norwesco saddle tanks come in white only. Polyethylene applicator tanks range from 20 to 500 gallons. These portable tanks come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.
