Chemical Injection Tanks

Chemical injection tanks see heavy use in the oil and gas industry, primarily to store chemicals and lubricants. Because of this, these tanks are also referred to as oil and gas chemical injection tanks, and oil field chemical injection tanks. They are often used in coordination with pumps and oil and gas lines.

Norwesco manufactures chemical injection tanks by rotationally molding high-density virgin polyethylene resin. The resulting seamless plastic tanks are imbued with a natural resistance to impact, corrosion, rust, and a wide range of temperatures. UV inhibitors added during production provide resistance to sun degradation, allowing the tank to be used indoors or outdoors year round. The primary tank is made from FDA approved polyethylene, so it may safely contain potable water if necessary.

Every chemical injection tank comes with a lid, stand, and covered containment basin. The cover prevents debris and wildlife from accessing the basin’s contents. The tank is supported by molded-in legs in addition to the stand and basin.

The primary tank comes in a transparent white color with gallon indicators for easy and convenient liquid level viewing. The tank stand and containment basin are an opaque black. Chemical injection tanks are available in an assortment of dimensions and capacities, ranging from 65 gallons to 325 gallons. Every tank is covered by a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Fittings, such as the ¾” 316SS bolted fitting with MNPT nipple and XLPE gasket, are offered as an optional customization. Both National Tank Outlet and Norwesco offer the addition of connections or alterations to the connection size if needed.
