Our below ground cistern tanks are intended for bulk storage or collection of fresh potable drinking water storage and are designed for below ground level installations. Cistern tanks are manufactured from high-density polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors. Our cistern tanks are made with virgin polyethylene resin which complies with US Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 177.150(c) 3.1 and 3.2 for human consumption of potable drinking water. Cistern Tanks are manufactured from Food Grade FDA approved Virgin Polyethylene Resin. Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21CFR 177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 for storage of potable water. For underground storage tanks that involve waste, we recommend viewing our septic tanks section or bruiser tanks section. Bruiser tanks can be used for both potable water or septic use.
